Accessible Digital Cameras for the Masses

A digital camera is an important accessory as it allows us to capture those moments we need to remember and doesn’t clutter our space with old rolls of film and terrible photos. We can selectively keep what we need or like in the images we take and can even edit our images while they are stored in the cameras memory. Following is a few digital cameras offered by popular camera brands in the market today.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10

A highly popular camera which is on the expensive end of the scale – however, the price makes up for it with a 12.1 megapixel image resolution and GPS tagging. That is right. This camera allows you to use it as a GPS system. It is a fairly popular camera with those who can afford it. It also has a massive 16x zoom and has a bunch of nice options to tweak your photos on the fly. It offers a manual and automatic focus system and it’s extremely rugged.

Canon EOS 550D

This is a digital SLR camera (you can change the lens) and is also a little on the expensive side. However, this is a serious camera. It has a fairly good video recording function and is fairly easy to use. So if you are a budding photographer and need something that will get you through to your professional career then this is the camera for you. It is a fully integrated LCD screen and the resolution of the LCD viewing pane is quite high.

Canon IXUS 130 IS

This camera is a no fuss memory saver. It doesn’t have a massive range of features and is best suited to those of us who just want to point and click in order to preserve our memories. The LCD screen has a fairly low resolution but this is not going to bother anyone who isn’t using the camera in a professional capacity. It is also a fairly compact little camera and easily fits in a pocket or small purse for easy transportation. Did we mention the price? Oh, well it is fairly cheap which makes it an ok camera for those of us on a budget.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5
Not a bad camera by any means although it does look a little plain – well, maybe that is a good thing really. It shoots at 10.2 megapixels and has a fully automatic focus system. It also has pretty good image quality for a basic digital camera. It is well made and probably won’t break the first time you drop it – another good thing, digital cameras seem to be getting pretty fragile.

Top favouritecamera brands provide good quality cameras and encourage you to pursue your photography more passionately.
